The Vivacity LED Safety Bollard Head can be fitted to existing bollards to increase their visibility at night.
Powered by an internal battery, no solar light is required. The battery is replaceable.
The LED’s are activated when light levels fall to 100 lux or lower, and the light switches off when light levels increase to more than 100 lux.
By retrofitting a LED Safety Bollard Head to existing bollards, the chance of collisions with the bollard by vehicles, riders and pedestrians in low-light and at night is reduced. They can be installed on bollards along bike paths to reduce the risk of:
- riders being injured by riding into a bollard in the evening or early hours of the morning
- pedestrians walking or running into bollards in the evening or early hours of the morning
- drivers driving into or reversing into bollards in laneways, alleyways or when reversing near critical equipment that is protected with bollards.
Custom sleeves for bollards of different sizes can be supplied.
The Vivacity LED Safety Bollard Head is also available with a bollard.
